Workspace
Projects and files without leaving the space
Alongside the conversations, Agorium has a workspace for tasks, tables and files. It gets by with three terms: project, list and entry.
What the workspace contains
Projects
A project collects everything that belongs to one undertaking: task lists, databases and a file folder. You decide whether the whole team sees it or only certain people.
Task board
You drag tasks through the columns. Each one has assignees, a due date and a priority, plus comments, attachments and a history that shows who changed what.
My tasks
The start page of the workspace shows what is on your plate, grouped by overdue, today and this week. You tick off finished work with one click.
Tables and databases
For anything that isn't a task you create your own lists, for example for contacts, inventory or knowledge. Fields can be text, number, select, date, person, checkbox or link, shown as a table or a board.
Files
You upload files of up to 2 GB and watch the progress. Folders can be nested, and files that shouldn't stay forever can get an expiry date.
Links between items
Tasks, files and entries can be connected, for example a task with the briefing it refers to.
Permissions
Who can see what
- Folders and files inherit the permissions of their project. You can restrict them at any level or share them with specific people and roles.
- Someone who isn't allowed to see an item doesn't find out that it exists.
- Guests and agents only see what has been shared with them explicitly.
- Anyone who would lock themselves out while restricting something keeps the right to manage it.
Conversation and work in one place
The advantage over separate tools is the detour you save. In a meeting someone shows the task board on the stage, you move cards around, and whoever gets a task assigned is notified immediately. If that person isn't in the space at the moment, an email goes out on request.
The limits are calendars, timelines and tickets, which don't exist yet. If you need those, your current project tool still makes sense alongside Agorium.
Tasks and conversations in one place
Create a space and set up your first project. All it takes is a name and a few tasks.
